489 Worcester consists of 32 market rate units and 8 affordable units with 2 existing single family homes on approximately 3.74 acres of land on Route 9 and Cliff Road. The site was highlighted as an ideal location in the Unified Housing Plan due to its short three-minute walk to the Wellesley Hills train station, town trails, and proximity to shops. The project aims to provide more diversity in housing options, including a central location in Wellesley along Route 16 and Route 9.
489 Worcester is a proposed project comprising of 32 market-rate units and 8 affordable units within a manor style building.
Massachusetts currently suffers from a severe housing shortage. Our project aligns with the 2018 Unified Plan to create additional housing for aging residents to stay within their community.

489 Worcester will preserve existing 4 and 14 Cliff Road and landscaping on Cliff Road as buffer to the neighborhood.
489 Worcester is conveniently located on the Cross Town Trail, a short walk to the Wellesley Hills Station and shops along Washington Street.
489 Worcester will add 8 units of much needed affordable housing in Wellesley for families making 80% Area Medium Income (AMI).
